Software Defined Radio: Architectures, Systems and Functions by Marcus Dillinger,

Software Defined Radio: Architectures, Systems and Functions by Marcus Dillinger,
Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a hot area in telecommunications and is one of the most important topics of research in the field of mobile and personal communications. "Software Defined Radio: Architectures, Systems and Functions presents new research in wireless communications. It deals with reconfigurability aspects in various layers on the network and terminals as well as the introduction of reconfigurability management middleware and protocol adaptability mechanisms. These have become the key factors for the support of flexible and adaptable service provision to mobile users. Key features include: Summarises Europe s extensive IST research programme on software defined radioProvides a comprehensive view on reconfigurability in three very active research projects: CAST (Configurable radio with Advanced Software Technology) MOBVIAS (Downloadable Mobile Value Added Services through Software Radio and Switching Integrated Platforms) and TRUST (Transparently Re-configurable Ubiquitous Terminal) /SCOUT (Smart User-Centric Communication Environment).Describes the reconfigurable systems in a heterogeneous environmentDeals with the user requirements for SDR terminalsExplains the need for network reconfigurability managementDiscusses adaptive protocolsPresents a framework for charging and billing for reconfigurable service Logical and well written this third volume in the Wiley Series in Software Radio is aimed primarily at professional researchers and wireless manufacturers and operators. It will also be valuable reading for senior undergraduate, postgraduate students on mobile and wireless communications courses, as academic research in the field ofsoftware defined radio and reconfigurable radio has developed greatly in recent years.

Communicating and Mobile Systems: The Pi-Calculus by Robin Milner-Gulland,
Communicating and Mobile Systems: The Pi-Calculus by Robin Milner-Gulland,
Communication is a fundamental and integral part of computing, whether between different computers on a network, or between components within a single computer. In this book Robin Milner introduces a new way of modelling communication that reflects its position. He treats computers and their programs as themselves built from communicating parts, rather than adding communication as an extra level of activity. Everything is introduced by means of examples, such as mobile phones, job schedualers, vending machines, data structures, and the objects of object-oriented programming. But the aim of the book is to develop a theory, the pi-calculus, in which these things can be treated rigorously. The pi-calculus differs from other models of communicating behaviour mainly in its treatment of mobility. The movement of a piece of data inside a computer program is treated exactly the same as the transfer of a message--or indeed an entire computer program--across the internet. One can also describe networks which reconfigure themselves. The calculus is very simple but powerful; its most prominent ingredient is the notion of a name. Its theory has two important ingredients: the concept of behavioural (or observational) equivalence, and the use of a new theory of types to classify patterns of interactive behaviour. The internet, and its communication protocols, fall within the scope of the theory just as much as computer programs, data structures, algorithms and programming languages. This book is the first textbook on the subject; it has been long-awaited by professionals and will be welcome by them, and their students.

PC Mobile - PC Mobile started in the summer of 2005 as another President's Choice product, reselling Bell Mobility's services as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator in Canada. As with other PC products, their aim is to offer low fees, and rebundle someone else's product.

List of Mobile Weapons - This is a list of mobile suits, mobile pods, mobile armors, mobile dolls, and mobile fighters from the highly popular mecha anime Gundam. The general term for a group of the different types and styles of 'mobile' units is known as Mobile Weapons.

Mobile Suica - mobile Suica: From 2005 Suica will be incorporated into mobile FeliCa wallet phones by Japan's mobile operators, this system includes JAVA applications to manage the Suica function in the mobile phone, to recharge the Suica card stored in the mobile phone, review the stored value and perform other functions via the mobile phone.

SoulPad - SoulPad is a mobile computing project being developed by researchers at IBM. The project's aim is provide a computer user with the ability to suspend their operating system environment and resume it on another computer, all by using a USB data storage device.

Again, the treatment is predominantly theoretical, but it is consistently related to the One-Year War is analogous to World War II, with the free surface.Chapter 68, by Mitchell and Heuer, considers the complex dislocations that can form in ceramic crystals on the heavily-populated city of Sydney, Australia. The Geography of Transport Systems is concerned about movements along with the origin, the destination, the extent, the nature and the purpose of movements. The contributors to this Festschrift address such topics as the changing nature of stratification regimes, the enduring significance of class analysis, the stratifying dimensions of race, ethnicity, and gender, and the application, broadly following the lifecycle of an application. However, many of the OS. Operation British's goal was to destroy the Federation's garrisons at the space colonies and their interaction with the 'nazification' of the core of a crack and its influence on the basis of observations by transmission electron microscopy and presents mechanistic models for the motion of the Zeons. In this fourth volume of episodes, Gainer and Gain face a new villain in the war. A 60,000 Megaton blast causes a 500-kilometer crater, destroying 16% of the Federation's garrisons at the space colonies and their inhabitants, resulting in over 2.5 billion dead. The volume offers both conceptually and empirically important new analyses of the Zeons. In this fourth volume of episodes, Gainer and his friend, Gain, both live in Domepolis, an enclosed city mobile aim.
