Dark comedy, surprising plot twists and an FBI agent with attitude highlight this offbeat crime drama. Chris Noth ("Sex And The City") is edgy, wisecracking FBI agent Mike Tozzi - a "Bad Apple" tackling a mob loan-sharking operation in The Big Apple. Sent undercover to infiltrate the inner circle of mobsters "Buddha" Stanzione (Elliott Gould) and Tommy "Bells" Bellavita (Robert Patrick), Tozzi appears to be the ideal agent for the task - streetwise, moody and tough-talking. But his romantic involvement with his informant's sister (Dagmara Dominczyk) soon drags both Tozzi and his partner Cuthbert Gibbons (Colm Meaney) into a deadly - and at times murderously funny - game of cat-and-mouse between the hapless FBI agents their intended targets.
